The CUIT Infrastructure Support Services team offers virtual server hosting and management for VMware-based virtual machines within the CUIT infrastructure.

  • Provisioning and administration of the server up to the Operating System (OS) layer
  • Basic performance tuning
  • Server backups (recommended) and restores
  • Patching
  • Monitoring and alerts
  • Disaster Recovery (DR)


A New Managed Virtual Machine is available at a starting price of $110.40/month. This includes 2 CPU, 4 GB RAM, and 50 GB hard drive. Please visit the request form for pricing for additional options.

The following are not included in this service:

  • After-hours troubleshooting (unless specifically agreed to in an SLA)
  • Analysis or troubleshooting of any services (web, application) which depend on the hosted server (unless specifically agreed to in an SLA)
