CUIT Desktop Support provides computing services to assist in your business workflow. Our services include, but are not limited to, hardware and software consultation, procurement and setup, ongoing support, managed secure desktops, and local drive backup services. We also offer support for standard email clients, LionMail and Exchange. We support both Windows and macOS environments.

Service Eligibility

Please submit a ticket to the CUIT Service Desk or call at 212-854-1919 to determine if you have appropriate hardware. Please note that we do not provide support for personal computers, either given by the University or otherwise.

Standard Supported Hardware and Software

CUIT supports and recommends Dell and Apple hardware.

If you are a CUIT Desktop support customer, you can place orders for your computers via the CUIT Service Catalog

Please note that we support Dell and Apple enterprise models only.

Standard models are in stock and can be deployed in 5-7 business days typically.

If you are requesting hardware that is non-standard, you can use the non-standard catalog item. Non-standard hardware will need to be procured and lead times are dependent on vendor availability.
